Fingers crossed for Lottery Funding from 'Grow Wild'

This picture shows the entrance to the American Garden of Remembrance which is located in the heart of the town centre behind the Town Hall fronting on to  Back of Avon overlooking the river.  Its a large grassed open space, with huge potential. Currently it is very much under used, and as there is no signage, is easily overlooked.

The garden is a memorial to the American troops who served during WW2 and were based locally.

We have identified Lottery Funding from an organisation called Grow Wild which is able to fund 60 projects in 2015 to create inspiring spaces for the community using UK native plants.

We have lodged our application for £4,000 worth of funding and will hear around February next year if we have been successful.
